Children Ministry Curriculum
Curriculum is set for every three months as follows:
PRESCHOOL KIDS
Ages 1-4; Spring Curriculum (March, April, May)
Unit 1: Learning to Obey
Adam and Eve, Jonah, and the Prodigal Son show kids the importance of making right choices, forgiving others, and being thankful.
Unit 2: Learning about Easter
Bible stories that take place before and after Easter show kids how to love and praise God and begin seeing Jesus as a compassionate friend they can trust.
Unit 3: Learning to Witness, Pray, and Worship
Kids will learn to appreciate God’s Word, share His love with others, pray, and worship through Nicodemus, Philip, Priscilla and Aquila, Jesus, and David
PRIMARY KIDS
Ages 5-7; Spring Curriculum (March, April, May)
Unit 1: Joshua Leads God’s People
Kids will enjoy the thrilling stories of mighty miracles: Rahab and the spies, parting the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho’s walls, and the sun standing still.
Unit 2: Jesus, Our Savior
Kids will find out how Jesus died on the cross, rose from the dead to bring us eternal life, and met with two sad friends, letting them know He is alive.
Unit 3: Judges of God’s People
During the time of the Judges, God chose great people to lead, including brave Deborah, doubting Gideon, impulsive Samson,
PRETEEN KIDS
Ages 8 - 12; Spring Curriculum (March, April, May)
Unit 1: The Gospel and Acts
Lessons focus on how and why each Gospel writer presented a different view of Jesus, showing students how Gentiles were reached as a result.
Unit 2: Paul’s Epistles
Students will be challenged to explain God’s plan for salvation, why the Church is a body, and what the Christian’s hope is through this study of Paul’s letters to the early church.
Unit 3: General Epistles
Students will find out how to live their faith, respond to problems in God-pleasing ways, and use three questions to help them discern false teaching.
