  2. Read Esther 4:13-17 and Esther 5:1-8 and find out what we can learn from the text for times such as this?
  3. Esther made careful preparations to enter the king’s presence. In our approach to the King of kings,
    1. What parallels and contrasts can we find in Esther 4:16; Esther 5:1-2?
    2. What admonishing does Hebrews 10:19-22 give to us.
  4. How can patience and courage help you deal with an enemy or unpleasant situation?


Applying the Lesson to Your Life

Like Esther, we have meaningful choices to make even though we may not have as much influence and power as Esther had. How can we depend on the promises of Isaiah 40:31 to help us in these times?

Pray that God will give you an open heart to receive the assignment He has chosen for you. Ask Him for wisdom, patience and the courage to do what you need to do in these uncertain times.
